Pizza for Breakfast! & Lovely Weather

I actually slept in this morning. 9:30am, baby! Yes, we did lose an hour due to daylight savings, but I usually wake up between 7 and 8 since we moved in. This was definitely an improvement!

Typically, I will make eggs and bagels on the weekends, but I decided to mix it up a little and make egg pizza, thanks to Run Eat Repeat's recipe



It was really delicious, even if I did leave it in the oven too long. Peter enjoyed his as well. It's nice having something new for breakfast. Though, I couldn't sacrifice my serving of additional carbs. I substituted the usual bagel for jelly toast. :o)

Anyway, I'm being smart today. NO RUNNING! It may be gorgeous out and I feel just fine, but...no running. Not risking injury again. Peter and I did take a 2.5 mile walk shortly after breakfast for some light exercise. But since it was so nice, I decided to take my bike on a 7.5 mile ride in the afternoon.

 
Poor thing hasn't been used since the fall.


I didn't want to do too much since this is actually my "rest day" from the 23 miles. So I plan to take it easy for the remainder of the day, drinking plenty of water and reading. Maybe outside! I desperately need a hammock and lawn chairs.

 I hope this nice weather lasts! Ginger loves that I was able to open her window for her.
